Fundraising: 7 Secrets of Successful Fundraising for Your Organization, Cause & Nonprofit

To all the many wonderful nonprofit organizations and philanthropic institutions & associations,

Warm greetings from sunny Florida!

I’d be honored to share my – 7 Secrets on Successful Fundraising – with a select few organizations sincerely seeking help in these trying times.

I commend you for being wise enough to recognize the importance of adequately training your development officers and specialist, executive directors and project coordinators as to the ongoing fundraising essentials to keep the your organizations / associations / nonprofits thriving during economically challenging times.

As the President of a successful IRS registered 501 C 3 nonprofit organization (Dream-Maker Ministries), I am keenly aware with the nuances, challenges and necessary success steps to:

Fundraising in a tough economy
How to cold call successfully
What makes a good fundraiser
How to close the gift
Connecting with the Donor

….and much more!

However I don’t usually share these proprietary secrets of mine because frankly I don’t want everybody else using them.

Nevertheless since I want to see others do well, while doing good – for a limited time only I will consider providing a presentation and consultation to those desirious who I handpick to work with.

After my presentation I will stay for an extra hour to participate in a creative brainstorming session with those in attendance to hear their unique and particular challenges and answer questions.

Unlike most nonprofit organizations who have administrative staff doing various elements of the work and fundraising, I have run my organization singlehandedly and therefore understand every detail of managing a nonprofit organization and sustaining it through ongoing fundraising.

Even more impressive are my accomplishments mentioned below considering I singlehandedly run my nonprofit organization.

In closing, I salute you for your fine accomplishments, contributions to your state and community, and outstanding work whereby the world in which we live is made better because of you.

With much respect and admiration,

Paul F. Davis

The Secret – Expectation and Childlike Faith

Free your mind of what you have thought you can’t do and begin to believe again that you can do! Jump up and down with joy like an excited and expectant child before Christmas eagerly awaiting the good things your Creator has for you!

Replace sorrow with joy and begin to employ your gifts, talents and abilities. Transcend all anxiety being still and accessing internal tranquility. Let the peace that passes understanding quiet your mind, still your soul, access and awaken your spirit, causing you to be whole.

As you connect with the goodness of your Creator, regain all that stinking thinking and a miniscule mentality stole.

Awake and arise with new childlike faith, confidence, boldness, and raw determination to go after your dreams again! Refuse to bury your dreams beneath your disappointments. Press on ahead walking by faith not by sight. Where necessary fake it until you make it, calling those things that are not as though they were; thereby creatively calling and bringing them into existence.

Your best days and most blessed days are ahead of you. Stop living in the past and focusing on that which you cannot change. It’s a new day! Now boldly arise with the spirit of faith!

Blessings Abundantly Secrets & Keys to Prosperity

Please, please don’t let all you do be outshined or overwhelmed or swallowed up by complaining and cursing verbally.

You may be greatly gifted, but if you fail to harness your tongue and bite and devour everyone… you eventually will become undone. God doesn’t bless foul mouth folks and those with bitterness in their hearts.

If you will harness your tongue, it will go a long way for you, me, and humanity.

“If you are WILLING and obedient you will eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19)

Often the difference between getting blessed by God is not what we DO but HOW we do it.  It’s a matter of the heart, which the mouth always reveals and reflect. From the overflow of the heart come the words of the mouth.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God in their lives (Matthew 5).

Ministers Money Making Success Secrets: What Denominations, Bible Colleges, Seminaries & Churches Don’t Teach

As a worldwide minister I learned the success secrets denominations, Bible colleges, seminaries & churches don’t teach ministers. It wasn’t easy. I struggled financially for years, believing the illusions denominations, churches, ministers, and many pastors tried to sell me as a young minister.

After 15 years I realized God alone wasn’t going to bring me wealth, success, and financial independence. I had to put feet to my faith and strategically do something specifically. Undoubtedly, to do the same things year after year repeatedly was not working.

Yes, countless people were being blessed, but I was being short changed and left empty financially. That is until I finally began to figure out financially how ministry works, or can work so you can do well by doing good. Otherwise without making the necessary adjustment I would continue to struggle for decades and leave both myself and my family angry and disillusioned at God. Certainly this was not helping me, my family, nor anybody.

Truly it is sad and pains me to see ministers struggling financially, believing God wholeheartedly, and being so dynamically gifted. There must be some success secrets ministers have failed to discover to connect their word power & knowledge of God to the wealth they so desperately need to achieve success and financial independence.

As I traveled throughout the world and began to honestly examine the reasons why people were asking me to come speak and minister in their churches, I discovered some very revealing points.

1. Ministers throughout the world are struggling financially.

Some immediately think of third world and war-torn nations. Certainly they are struggling there, but in America ministers are struggling to survive and get by daily as well. Relying on people to sporadically give a tithe or offering is not working, nor ensuring ministers the success they desire.

2. Ministers throughout the world have not properly and thoroughly been taught how to prosper.

Most denominations, Bible colleges, seminaries, and churches simply teach ministers to give saying, “You reap what you sow.” Quoting and obeying giving scriptures alone does not ensure your prosperity. Unfortunately, many people look at tithes and offerings as a guaranteed lottery.

3. Ministers want to grow their ministries, churches, and bank accounts even though they may not communicate such publicly.

Yes, ministers deeply desire to have a transformative impact upon the people to whom they minister, but the same time ministers want to do well themselves, while they do good.

What good is it for a minister and his / her family if they give of themselves continually, tirelessly, and consistenty only at the end to be found and come up wanting financially.

Let’s face the facts, ministers do not like being broke, busted, and disgusted. When they are they become angry at God and disillusioned about ministry. Thereafter if such is not resolved, their anger toward God leads to bitterness, backsliding, and the end of the minister’s ministry altogether.

So the question remains, why do ministers have such a hard time with success, financial independence, and making money as they do ministry?

If you are a minister (or former minister) and are presently angry at God, disillusioned, or bitter I would love to hear from you and know your personal story.
