Google International Public Relations Manager, Ad words, Jobs, YouTube

Today I applied online to work for Google and YouTube as their International Public Relations Manager.  Here below is my cover letter and resume.

Dear Google,

Please hire this industrious, inspiring, and creative individual to work for you! I am a phenomenal motivational speaker, educator, and am passionate about Google Adwords. I am willing to travel often and live anywhere.

As a worldwide speaker, the author of 14 books, and writer of over 800 online articles and poems; I understand the power of words and search engine optimization. I have for a long time used and been fascinated with Google search engine optimization, adwords, and desired to work for your company.

My travels to over 50 countries, more than 50 islands, and 6 continents has given me a great love for the peoples of the world. I therefore would be willing to work for Google in any country. I must say however given the fact my father-in-law lives in San Jose, my wife would be thrilled to live in the United States if I got hired to work for your corporate headquarters.

I currently am being offered jobs to teach in schools in Korea, Japan, and across America. Homeland Security has offered me a postion as a customs and border protection officer. However I would prefer working for Google.

I feel I will be a tremendous asset to your company. My global travels, understanding of culture, and genuine love for people make me a wonderful marketer and promoter. Moreover the fact that I am a published author, creative writer, and poet enables me to use the English language in a multiplicity of ways to persuade the populace.

I have a current Florida Department of Law Enforcement security clearance on file to attest to my good character.

I hope to hear from you soon and look forward to serving Google!

Sincerely,

Paul F Davis

Jean Dominique Bauby – The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

Jean-Dominique Bauby (April 23, 1952 – March 9, 1997) was a well-known French journalist and author and editor of the French fashion magazine ELLE. On December 8, 1995 at the age of 43, Bauby suffered a massive stroke. When he woke up twenty days later, he found he was entirely speechless; he could only blink his left eyelid. This rare condition is called Locked-in Syndrome, a condition wherein the mental faculties are intact but the entire body is paralyzed. Bauby also lost 60 pounds in the first 20 weeks after his stroke.

Nevertheless despite his condition, Bauby fulfilled his dream to write a book which he titled The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by blinking when the correct letter was reached by a person slowly reciting the alphabet over and over again. The book was published in France in 1997. The diving bell of Bauby’s title was his bodily confinement and limitation, the butterfly his imagination.

After fulfilling his dream, Bauby died just 10 days later of pneumonia. In 2007, painter-director Julian Schnabel released a film version of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly which won Schnabel the best director prize at Cannes, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Director.

A remarkable and inspiring true story about the awesome power of imagination, perseverance, and dedication to live one’s dream!

Now arise, transcend your excuses, triumph over your circumstances, and live your dreams!
Bauby’s life story gives me hope to find a way to live my dreams when I have no money to travel internationally and uplift humanity ministerially as is my customary life tendency. Nevertheless perhaps like Bauby through the printed page and my writings, until I lay hold of some money, I can journey my world inwardly until I resume my travels globally.

Spike Lee in Cannes Accuses Clint Eastwood of White Washing World War 2

*During a press conference in Cannes on Tuesday, filmmaker Spike Lee took director Clint Eastwood to task for failing to include a single African American soldier in his two recent WWII-themed films. Although hundreds of blacks fought in the battle for the Japanese island of Iwo Jima in 1945, none were present in Eastwood’s two movies about the historic struggle, “Flags Of Our Fathers” and “Letters From Iwo Jima.”

Perhaps getting some color in the White House will be good for America. Certainly having a black man in the White House will be good for the world who presently hate the United States according to Donad Trump who spoke candidly on the Big Idea about the failures of the Bush administration.
