Islam and Muslim Protests in London, UK, and Europe – Impotence, Intolerance, and Violence

I received an email this morning picturing Muslims protesting on the streets of London, England with anger in their hearts, hatred in their mouths, and slogans of violence on signs in their hands. Is this the heart of God? I think not.
Among the disheartening images I saw, the unforgettable words on the signs read:
“Europe you will pay. Demolition is on its way.”
“Europe you will pay. Your extermination is on its way.”
“Butch those who mock Islam.”
“Europe is the cancer. Islam is the answer.”
“Islam will dominate the world.”
“Europe take some lessons from 9/11.”
“Europe you will pay. Your 9/11 is on its way.”
“Be prepared for the real holocaust.”
“Massacre those who insult Islam.”
“Exterminate those who insult Islam.”
“Behead those who insult Islam.”
“Slay those who insult Islam.”
They who seek to defend their religion with violence prove to the world that God is not in it. Cannot God defend Himself without human help? I think so. Yet when God is not in a man-made religion, religious followers must arise to kill, compel, and constrain people to obey its rigid and frigid tenets.
God is love and will defend the glory of His Name!

Have you forgotten “Thou shalt not take the Lord’s name in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless” (Exodus 20:7).  Muslims, Americans, Christians, and anyone who advocates killing in God’s name does not know the Lord (John 16:1-3). God Himself will uphold the honor of His name and judge those who advocate killing in His holy Name. God is a life giver, not a killer.
Jesus did not come to destroy lives, but to save lives (John 3:17).
They who kill innocent blood, there blood will be shed (Genesis 9:6).

What we tolerate will dominate. If the British permit this type of behavior on their streets, it will persist until they become fed up and swiftly deal with these evildoers.  Until the British awake to the backsliddeness of their hearts and destitute spiritual condition, Islamic fundamentalism and protests such as this on their streets must continue to intensify to get their attention. Spiritual battles require spiritual wisdom, power, love, and discipline to win (see 2 Corinthians 10:3-6).

The British must awake, arise, and boldly confront evil lest they be overtaken by it!
As for your remarks about political candidates, the hope of America and the world is not in elections but in Jesus Christ and His church.  Political candidates only serve to reveal the spiritual state of the people who elect them.

Relationship Advice: Why people say mean things

Friends sometimes say mean or humiliating things because often unbeknownst to them they project on to others how they feel about themselves. Other motivations causing such verbalization of cruelty is the reality that you cannot be their all in all and fill their bottomless emotional pit.

People often look for someone relationally to fill them only to later discover after the initial infatuation and illusion wears off that everybody possesses some humanity.  Many have not yet learned that happiness is an inside job and therefore put unrealistic expectations on people to fulfill them.  When their expectations aren’t met, they explode and become cruel and hateful.

Women Handling Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunctions

Wardrobe malfunctions are embarrassing for women overly engrossed in seeking the approval of others. The secure and confident woman embraces her own humanity, having a healthy degree of detachment from people’s opinions. She therefore can laugh off momentary mishaps as a part of life. Laughter and not taking yourself too seriously is the easiest way to elegantly overcome embarrassment and find relief in any situation.

What was your most embarrassing moment? Do tell ladies!

Job Hunting – A Full Time Job

Job hunting

Has become to me

A full time job

Never ending

My qualifications

Always refrencing

My past accomplishments

My endless education

My work experience

My professional acquaintance

With key people in the work place

God Almighty give me some grace

To endure and continue pursuing

Meaningful employment without complaining

Because I get rejected because of my skin color,

My age, my looks, my limitations, lack of conformity

My authenticity, humanity, and bold individuality

Shall I cease being a human and just be a conformist

Sell my soul for money and do whatever comes along

Or believe for the best, be selective, and stand strong?

Yes, I have to pay the bills and can’t be a ding dong

For one who doesn’t care for his own family is an infidel

Or even worse according to the Bible, but help me God

I’m drowning in applications and this employment process

Arise and give me a breakthrough loving heavenly Father

For your Name sake answer my prayer and don’t delay

For years of tireless job hunting has left me most weary

As king David in distress prayed, “Send now prosperity”

Enough of my dire poverty, inconsistency, and calamity

Bring on the blessings God and use my talents and ability

To glorify thee and build your people and kingdom in the earth

Bring forth in me professionally and occupationally a new birth.

Open the windows of heaven over me and move hearts favorably

Direct me inwardly by your Spirit so I know where to labor specifically

Whom to entreat professionally and where to work purposefully

Help dear God, hearken to the cry of your child crying out to thee.

Jean Dominique Bauby – The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

Jean-Dominique Bauby (April 23, 1952 – March 9, 1997) was a well-known French journalist and author and editor of the French fashion magazine ELLE. On December 8, 1995 at the age of 43, Bauby suffered a massive stroke. When he woke up twenty days later, he found he was entirely speechless; he could only blink his left eyelid. This rare condition is called Locked-in Syndrome, a condition wherein the mental faculties are intact but the entire body is paralyzed. Bauby also lost 60 pounds in the first 20 weeks after his stroke.

Nevertheless despite his condition, Bauby fulfilled his dream to write a book which he titled The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by blinking when the correct letter was reached by a person slowly reciting the alphabet over and over again. The book was published in France in 1997. The diving bell of Bauby’s title was his bodily confinement and limitation, the butterfly his imagination.

After fulfilling his dream, Bauby died just 10 days later of pneumonia. In 2007, painter-director Julian Schnabel released a film version of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly which won Schnabel the best director prize at Cannes, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Director.

A remarkable and inspiring true story about the awesome power of imagination, perseverance, and dedication to live one’s dream!

Now arise, transcend your excuses, triumph over your circumstances, and live your dreams!

Bauby’s life story gives me hope to find a way to live my dreams when I have no money to travel internationally and uplift humanity ministerially as is my customary life tendency. Nevertheless perhaps like Bauby through the printed page and my writings, until I lay hold of some money, I can journey my world inwardly until I resume my travels globally.
