Job Hunting – A Full Time Job

Job hunting

Has become to me

A full time job

Never ending

My qualifications

Always refrencing

My past accomplishments

My endless education

My work experience

My professional acquaintance

With key people in the work place

God Almighty give me some grace

To endure and continue pursuing

Meaningful employment without complaining

Because I get rejected because of my skin color,

My age, my looks, my limitations, lack of conformity

My authenticity, humanity, and bold individuality

Shall I cease being a human and just be a conformist

Sell my soul for money and do whatever comes along

Or believe for the best, be selective, and stand strong?

Yes, I have to pay the bills and can’t be a ding dong

For one who doesn’t care for his own family is an infidel

Or even worse according to the Bible, but help me God

I’m drowning in applications and this employment process

Arise and give me a breakthrough loving heavenly Father

For your Name sake answer my prayer and don’t delay

For years of tireless job hunting has left me most weary

As king David in distress prayed, “Send now prosperity”

Enough of my dire poverty, inconsistency, and calamity

Bring on the blessings God and use my talents and ability

To glorify thee and build your people and kingdom in the earth

Bring forth in me professionally and occupationally a new birth.

Open the windows of heaven over me and move hearts favorably

Direct me inwardly by your Spirit so I know where to labor specifically

Whom to entreat professionally and where to work purposefully

Help dear God, hearken to the cry of your child crying out to thee.

Jean Dominique Bauby – The Diving Bell and the Butterfly

Jean-Dominique Bauby (April 23, 1952 – March 9, 1997) was a well-known French journalist and author and editor of the French fashion magazine ELLE. On December 8, 1995 at the age of 43, Bauby suffered a massive stroke. When he woke up twenty days later, he found he was entirely speechless; he could only blink his left eyelid. This rare condition is called Locked-in Syndrome, a condition wherein the mental faculties are intact but the entire body is paralyzed. Bauby also lost 60 pounds in the first 20 weeks after his stroke.

Nevertheless despite his condition, Bauby fulfilled his dream to write a book which he titled The Diving Bell and the Butterfly by blinking when the correct letter was reached by a person slowly reciting the alphabet over and over again. The book was published in France in 1997. The diving bell of Bauby’s title was his bodily confinement and limitation, the butterfly his imagination.

After fulfilling his dream, Bauby died just 10 days later of pneumonia. In 2007, painter-director Julian Schnabel released a film version of The Diving Bell and the Butterfly which won Schnabel the best director prize at Cannes, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award nomination for Best Director.

A remarkable and inspiring true story about the awesome power of imagination, perseverance, and dedication to live one’s dream!

Now arise, transcend your excuses, triumph over your circumstances, and live your dreams!

Bauby’s life story gives me hope to find a way to live my dreams when I have no money to travel internationally and uplift humanity ministerially as is my customary life tendency. Nevertheless perhaps like Bauby through the printed page and my writings, until I lay hold of some money, I can journey my world inwardly until I resume my travels globally.

Transform Your Life Now! Intervention, Change, & Transformation

I have been both humbled and amazed to see God use me throughout the world empower people to break their limitations, overcome their fears, experience transformation, and live their dreams. I cannot imagine a more honorable and rewarding profession.

Being a life purpose coach enables me to interact with people beyond the superficial and beneath the surface. It’s so much fun to get to know people at a very deep level. More fun are the amazing discoveries I always make. Even better are the discoveries people make about themselves as they become happily more self-aware as to their own uniqueness and dormant greatness.

Awaking the greatness within individuals and organizations is my passion and profession. Doing so requires flexibility, sensitivity, and ingenuity as the methodology differs every time based upon circumstance. We as people were born originals. Therefore we should not die copies. More importantly we should not conform, nor live as duplicates of others. We must creatively and authentically be ourselves and find our own expression.

As we joyfully locate and delight in our difference, we shall surprisingly find our brilliance. Therein is our destiny found and as we lock into it prosperity shall abound. To be distracted and do anything else will bring you down.

I always tell people: “Be true to yourself.” It never ceases to amaze me how people violate themselves conforming to the wants and whims of others – whether it is sister, brother, friend, or mothers. Living for another is never a fulfilling journey. You must be you because nobody else cares too! Therefore stop denying the world of the pleasure to fully experience you!

Be the best and most expressive you you can possibly be! Awake to your identity and destiny.

Spend a day of receiving personal purpose coaching with Paul for only $1,000 and transform your life! If you’re not completely satisfied, Paul will fully refund your money.
