Born into Brothels – Unfortunate Children Need Love and Your Help

Born into brothels

Unfortunate children

Though precious indeed

Sadly they have great need

As their parents are entangled

Often in prostitution and drugs

Yet like all other tender children

They need love, affirmation, and hugs

Would someone show mercy and care?

Would someone look beyond and dare?

To provide a future and hope to these

Which circumstances have handled roughly

Terrorizing their hearts brutishly and endlessly

Orphans are many and most without a Daddy

As for Mommy she often is engaged elsewhere

Selling her body to men to earn wages and bus fare

Trapped young ladies oppressed by manipulative pimps

Controlling, diverting, disguising, and always domineering

Dashing any hopes of love, life, and peace without strife

The brothels are a place of ill repute and shamefully lewd

Adorable children scathed by circumstances that are rude

Have to hear foul language and see unimaginable acts crude

Is it any wonder they cannot concentrate in school and feud

To survive on the streets and struggle to protect themselves

At what they call home and in their hearts wish to far away roam

Born in brothels is a dreadful existence that makes every heart groan

Yet somehow these kids can find hope when a caring soul arises

Sees past he who despises and earnestly in expectation realizes

That they too can be loved, lifted, nourished, and skillfully educated

Taken beyond this gross society full of sin that has irreverently deviated

Believing in the wonders of God, dreaming beyond the wretched and jaded

Perhaps if just one meek soul could show love to a child feeling alienated

A wonderful rescue of a beautiful child could occur in a world inebriated

If just one person could fight for the innocent children and be infuriated

A mighty deliverance could occur for a child who has prayed and waited.

Tom Freiling and Xulon Press – Bad Reports to Better Business Bureau

I received an email this week with another complaint against Xulon Press – who published 4 of my books and proved to be a bit sneaky and phony as to publicity they advertised, promised, and sold me that they later provided far less than that which they pitched and profited from.

Here’s the latest scandal on Xulon Press below I just was emailed below:

“My husband and I saw your web log about Xulon press and I am so happy that you are speaking out against them. They did the same thing to us. In 2002 my husband’s uncle Billy ( Billy Barty) was being featured on an A/E biography.

Because my husband and I were both Christians we sought out a Christian publisher so that we could have our tribute book done in a reasonable time frame. Many well known celebrities had participated. Tom Freiling had no problem taking our money for the best sellers program along with all of the extra fee’s that came along with it. After reading all their hype we thought they were a company with integrity. We have had nothing but heartache from them from the get go.

I pray that others will see your weblog. Recently we filed a complaint with the FTC and the BBB. We have had very little money from them and the last time they said they owed us 39.00 which we never received. This company definitely does not promote Christian ethics nor does it answer phone calls or e-mails when there is a problem that arises. If you need our support, count us in.

I went on BBB of Central Florida. Xulon has evidently had 9 complaints and three this past year. I hope others will come forward.”

God Bless, Debra and Mike Copeland

1and1.com auto renewal cancellation policy – fraud, complicated, and poor customer service

http://www.1and1.com with whom I have 34 domains, many of which I have switched from http://www.GoDaddy.com does not offer clean and crisp easy access to your domain names status.  That is unlike with GoDaddy you cannot easily all in one clean listing see the status and expiration dates of your domains.

In an effort to keep ongoing business and continually bang out credit card debits into eternity, 1and1.com likes to hid their auto renewal page in another website altogether and thereby intentionally complicate matters.

The site is http://www.cancel.1and1.com

Then you have to go to the top left and click “cancel” after which you click the link that says “cancel & cancel additional items”

This will finally bring you up to your domains where you can remove the “auto renewal” feature.

1and1 cleverly keeps their customers by making another website to go to in order to simply stop the auto renewal feature, then they conceal and scare customers into thinking they will be altogether cancelling the domain (when they simply want to stop the auto renewal feature).

Many lose heart and simply just leave the domain on auto renewal at this point, but if you persevere you indeed can stop the auto renewal.

A lot of trouble considering GoDaddy makes it way easy.  Upon calling tech support at http://www.1and1.com about my 34 domains with them, I asked to consolidate all packages into one, but the tech was too lazy to do that for me and refused.

Neither would she cancel any of my domains.  To add to the nightmare when cancelling a domain not only to you have to endure the above process at 1and1.com but you also thereafter have to click through your inbox email confirming the cancellation (that is if you even receive it).

When I had one domain transfer that didn’t go through from GoDaddy, I asked 1and1 tech support to tell me if there were any others. The lady “Sheryl” rep.3729 told me “That will take several minutes to look in each one.”

I replied, “I don’t care! I pay your company several dollars every month for domains. Do it!”

She reluctantly did so and didn’t provide very good service because she had to comply with all of 1.and1.com’s goofy policies to slow down customer cancellations and discontinuing a mere auto renewal.
