As a world traveling speaker and life coach, it never ceases to amaze me at how few people truly enjoy themselves and their lives. It is quite saddening and a pity indeed.

Happiness truly is an inside job and must be cultivated through positive self-talk daily. The Secret – Love Never Fails

Often what is most profound is also most simple. Love is the spirit by which all things should be done and pursued. Otherwise we trample over others in route to our own success.

However when you disregard other human beings to enhance and enrich yourself, eventually it will catch up to you and the blowback will not be kind. Hence before you climb the ladder of success, make sure your ladder is leaning on the right building.

Love people, all people, no matter their stature or societal position. By loving everybody instead of burning bridges, you build a pathways to happily crossover into your desirable future.

Remember everybody knows somebody and it has been said you are only seven degrees of separation away from the person capable of promoting you to the next level in your life.

The quickest way to grow personally is by the books you read and people you associate with. Therefore walk in love and cultivate meaningful relationships with everybody. Even if just to show yourself cordial, share the milk of kindness and live long.

I very much enjoy recognizing and honoring people who do jobs that often go unappreciated – such as the lunch room lady, the cleaning attendant, the bathroom janitor, and the trashman who regularly visits my home.

Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer, brings in annual sales from Christian merchandise in excess of $1 billion annually. It shouldn’t come as a surprise from both a business and values based perspective. Wal-Mart’s founder Sam Walton always wanted to reflect the values of his customers and uphold morality to support their local community.

With Wal-Mart, Target, and grocery stores such as Publix in the south selling Christian books and merchandise, consumers have more options. That means the some 8,000 small Christian retailers scattered across the U.S. can no longer charge obscene retail prices for wholesome God fearing merchandise. This is good for consumers. 1. People are spiritually hungry and not being sufficiently fed on Sundays at church.

Most people physically eat three meals a day. How then spiritually can we be expected to live on one small snack a week spiritually? Many churches don’t allow for very long sermons any more. Pastors are afraid people will leave and therefore have shortened their messages. Many in the pulpit are trying to be entertaining and thereby have minimized their ability to equip and empower God’s people.

Beyond churchgoers are those spiritually desirous of a relationship with God who never attend church. They too are seeking stimulating spiritual material to awaken and feed their spirit.

2. As the world gets increasingly troublesome and America becomes all the more engrossed in a global war on terror, people are fearing for their lives.

As life becomes more precious and sacred once again, people are awakening to their mortality and becoming spiritual. People want to know about the end-times, the end of the age, how they ought to live, and want to be adequately prepared for major global occurences lest they be caught unaware.

3. Marriages and families are falling apart like never before.

Have you ever met a woman

But ever so rough on the ears?

Such a woman is a plight and paradox indeed

She attracts a man’s eyes, but makes his heart bleed

Once allured, seduced, and ensnared it is hard to be freed

Therefore I warn you my brothers to listen and take heed

Lest you be by your eyes enticed, engulfed, and overcome

Hear a woman speak and behold her actions, before you run

Because being committed to a boisterous woman is not fun

It will nearly make you want to be die, or be deaf and dumb

Playing dumb is not sufficient to endure belligerence, nor shun

A continuously complaining, belittling, and destructive woman

Classy Woman – Considerations Before Marriage

As somebody who has traveled to over 50 countries throughout the world and dated countless women, it is worth noting that all women are not classy.

Over the years experience has taught me that looks are not everything, although most women will spend a good portion of their life attending to and complaining about their appearance. The classy woman however transcends her outward appearance and cultivates the woman within.

The best way to test a woman’s character is to watch how she handles money and people. The frivolous woman will spend carelessly and not consider where the money is coming from, neither how hard it was to earn. The lofty and egotistically self-absorbed woman will treat people of low estate poorly, considering them merely servants to attend to her every beck and call. Such behavior smacks of pride and arrogance, which a woman who merely lives for herself manifests often.

In regard to finances of all the women I have dated, one in particular proved exceptional in her ability to surprise me in her financial dealings. She was visiting friends in New York, during which we spent a few days skiing at Lake Placid. I made and cared for all of the arrangements, but to my surprise before she said her goodbyes she gave me an envelope full of hundred dollar bills to cover her share of the trip.

Such is a genuine woman of class and nobility. Sadly such a mentality is long gone and hard to find in North American and Western women who feel for some strange reason because of their looks and charm they are entitled to take advantage of men.  

The few women who act otherwise will always stand head and shoulders above the rest regardless of their looks. My wife has endured many hardships our first two years of marriage, as I by no means am a money man. Nevertheless we have lived well and traveled to many wonderful parts of the world – Australia, Fiji, Holland, France, Monaco, Puerto Rico, Aruba, St. Thomas, Curacao, and St. Martin.

Yet in our day to day lives both of us have struggled as entrepreneurial business owners. That being said financial struggles necessitate that we share a car. I’m always thankful and appreciative whenever my wife takes the initiative to put gas in it. Such is unthinkable for many women who merely use hubby’s credit card. Thank God I’m not saddled to such a woman.

My beloved wife is thrifty and sells items around the house we don’t use on Craigslist to help us out financially. She clips and saves coupons to save money when we grocery shop. Plus she’s paying her own way back to Canada to be in her friend’s wedding. Our first year of marriage she willingly shared a mobile phone with me to save money.

Guys you want to see your woman under pressure before you marry her. While dating I often took women overseas, out of their comfort zone, to see how they would react. Women and men put on a false face when they are dating to show their very best. Only over time as people let down their guard, does their true self appear and show itself.

Listen to the words of choice, the way people express themself, and their feelings. Are they positive or negative? Encouraging or destroying? Uplifting or draining? Do they bad mouth and belittle people? All of these are red flags to warn you of who you are dealing with.

Little things are everything. The devil is hidden in the details. If you date a woman who is all about herself and never offers to pay her way, watch out. Sometimes when my wife wants to go out, she pays for us.

Remember before marriage men want a cute face and nice figure. After marriage, men want a responsible woman who will help pay the bills.

Life is not all about her hair, dress, and shoes. She may think otherwise and if you allow it, you my friend are not wise and in store for a long arduous ride.  

Do yourself a favor men. If she’s high maintenance while you are dating her, move on while you can before you take her hand in marriage and have to endure a life of misery.

Romance without finance is foolishness and to think you can change someone is fatally presumptuous.

Born into Brothels – Unfortunate Children Need Love and Your Help

Born into brothels

Unfortunate children

Though precious indeed

Sadly they have great need

As their parents are entangled

Often in prostitution and drugs

Yet like all other tender children

They need love, affirmation, and hugs

Would someone show mercy and care?

Would someone look beyond and dare?

To provide a future and hope to these

Which circumstances have handled roughly

Terrorizing their hearts brutishly and endlessly

Orphans are many and most without a Daddy

As for Mommy she often is engaged elsewhere

Selling her body to men to earn wages and bus fare

Trapped young ladies oppressed by manipulative pimps

Controlling, diverting, disguising, and always domineering

Dashing any hopes of love, life, and peace without strife

The brothels are a place of ill repute and shamefully lewd

Adorable children scathed by circumstances that are rude

Have to hear foul language and see unimaginable acts crude

Is it any wonder they cannot concentrate in school and feud

To survive on the streets and struggle to protect themselves

At what they call home and in their hearts wish to far away roam

Born in brothels is a dreadful existence that makes every heart groan

Yet somehow these kids can find hope when a caring soul arises

Sees past he who despises and earnestly in expectation realizes

That they too can be loved, lifted, nourished, and skillfully educated

Taken beyond this gross society full of sin that has irreverently deviated

Believing in the wonders of God, dreaming beyond the wretched and jaded

Perhaps if just one meek soul could show love to a child feeling alienated

A wonderful rescue of a beautiful child could occur in a world inebriated

If just one person could fight for the innocent children and be infuriated

A mighty deliverance could occur for a child who has prayed and waited.
